Since 1996
The Hellenic-Dutch Association of Commerce and Industry was founded in 1996. It is an independent, autonomous, non-profit, non-government organization, funded solely by income deriving from membership fees, and small part from profits arising from events, functions and promotional activities by the HE.D.A.

The general aims of the Association is to develop mutual commercial and financial relations between Greece and the Netherlands and, furthermore, to develop and facilitate commercial transactions and investment between the two countries. In addition the Association aims to cultivate and strengthen the political, social and cultural relations between the business communities of the two countries. Moreover the HE.D.A. is there to provide business and investment services to the members.
HE.D.A. history
Greece and the Netherlands have many things in common. Both are nations with long and very close ties with the sea. Their people are "travelers" and have concurred the world in various ways. Apart from that they belong to the same organizations of universal caliber and great importance. The European Union, the NATO, the United Nations, UNESCO etc. The trade relations between the two counties were always flourishing, yielding benefits for enterprises. Today the commercial relations are at the best stage ever achieved. The number of trading companies exceeds 1000. The trade and investments volume in absolute terms is among the highest between the European Union countries. Back in the early 90's a number of prominent businessmen considered the idea of establishing a "kind" of a trade association. This idea matured and was realized in 1996 with the establishment of the Hellenic-Dutch Association of Commerce and Industry. The HE.D.A. is destined to fulfill the needs and necessities of all members and other enterprises trading between the two countries.
